Steven, wanted to see if you (or someone on your team) can test the impact on page load time of loading the Universal Subtitles widget asynchronously on the mozilla.com development stage site. This is currently blocking 597048

Hi Steven, we've made significant improvements on the timing, and I think everything loads asynchronously —Adam can help explain. We're ready to close this bug as soon as you are!

Currently videos are uploaded to YouTube and subtitles are also synced from Amara (formerly known as Universal Subtitles) to YouTube. I think this can be WONTFIXed.
