Build ID: 2001012504, WinNT 4, win32-installer.exe When I try to open the mail app (either with CTRL-2 or from Tasks menu), the mail app loads and gets as far as showing the e-mails that I've already got. So far, so good. Then the mail and browser crash. It seems to happen when the Password Manager should come up, asking for a password so that I can check my mail. All I get is a nasty windows error alert-box.

Another thing. After crashing & restarting about 3 times, I can finally check my mail, without any problems.. strange.

There is a problem with loading mail today, it will be checked in soon. If you don't see this tomorrow, or the day after then please resolve. Thanks for using Mozilla!

Occurs in Linux -sea 2001013108 with PSM installed. If I reinstall without PSM, the crash goes away. Talkback submitted (TB25571794M).

I experienced this problem with 2001013010 on Mac OS 9.1. If Mozilla is set to "Encrypt Sensitive Information," it crashes when Mail activates the Password Manager. See also bug 67156 which seems to be a duplicate of this bug.

I got this crash, too, not only with mail, but when starting the password manager to fill out a login, or when selecting "View stores passwords" in Prefs/Adv/Pwds, or when deselecting "Use encryption ..." at the same pref. Updating summary. Build 2001013120 on NT4. It works with build 2001012820. Talkbacks from me: TB25609234X, TB25609258W, TB25609297M.

Not sure if this is related, but whenever I want to change my security preferences, it also crashes. Specifically when trying to switch off the "Use encryption when storing sensitive data" preferences and clicking OK to save the changes, the browser crashes :(

This is happening to me to for some time now. Mozilla crashes whenever I open MailNews and it tries to connect to mail server. Wen it should ask for password PSM encrypted data. It also crashes when I visit a page that has username/password on it. Using Mozilla 2001020320 on Windows 2000 SP1 pn PC. Changing OS to All as this is happening not just on Windows NT but also Mac and Linux. Also adding keyword regression as this was working perfectly before.
