Steps to reproduce:

I couldn't find any info on where xulrunner issues should be posted so hopefully this is close!

I tried to register xulrunner 5.0 by running the following command:

xulrunner --register-global


Actual results:

Error dialog was displayed saying:

"couldn't parse application.ini"


Expected results:

Should have registered XULRunner. I tried XULRunner 1.9.2.18 and it registers ok
XULRunner 6.0 Windows, have same problem.

I have the same error on WinXP and Win7 with xulrunner 11, it's works with xulrunner 3.6.26.

There is a problem with application.ini since Firefox/Thunderbird 11 and SeaMonkey 2.8.

Can you read : https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=723493 and resolve this bug?

I would like to use new versions.
