I've been using Ubuntu in a VM to get interdiffs, but I'd rather not have to.
I'd love to see this get done, there are no good interdiff tools on Windows that I know of. It's a pretty big part of my workflow.

I think the most realistic shot this has of happening is if you can convince the msys2 maintainers to include interdiff as a supported package. Then we'd get it for free when we eventually switch over to msys2.

Scratch that, msys2 *does* include the patchutils package.

As described in this document, under heading "Can we allow installing software in MozillaBuild?", tools used by developers themselves should be installed outside of MozillaBuild.
The existing developer tools in MozillaBuild (emacs, kdiff3, vim) will remain because I want to avoid unnecessary breakage.
