Details
User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; rv:5.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/5.0 Build ID: 20110615151330 Steps to reproduce: Inspecting DOM using Tools/DOM Inspector in FF. Used Query tool to select page element. Right click on DOM element to 'Blink Element'. Element does not blink (red border blinks) as expected. Reproducable on many web pages. Running FF 5.0, DOMi 2.0.10 on OS Windows 7 Pro SP1 (OS Version: 6.1.7601 Service Pack 1 Build 7601) on HP 625 laptop with LCD display (this might be relevant). I believe I have observed this working on older versions of FF. Same DOMi (2.0.10) on FF 3.5.2 running on old Linux (FC 6) works as expected. Actual results: Element does not blink (red border blinks) as expected. i.e. nothing happens. Expected results: Red border should have surrounded element in page view (usually in bottom panel of page) and blinked.

If it work when disabled HWA, This is dupulication of Bug 594299
Using ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4250 Graphics I'm unable to find a way to disable hardware acceleration - and I've looked.

You can disable the Hardware Acceleration Feature under Options/Advanced/General. Don't forget to restart Firefox.
Disabling Hardware Acceleration as noted seems to make the blink work - but in a much less aesthetic way than previous versions of FF and DOMi. I suggest marking as duplicate of Bug 594299.
