Steps to reproduce:
- Install Firefox Nightly: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 5.1; rv:8.0a1) Gecko/20110711 Firefox/8.0a1
- Install Mozilla Labkit 3.
- In Add-ons Manager -> Extensions -> Click on Setting wheel in top right ->
Check for updates.
Actual results:
- Nothing except the Text "checking for updates" is shown.
- This never finishes
In the error console the following messages appear (... is a placeholder for real values):
- Warning: WARN addons.manager: Exception calling callback: TypeError: Svc.IO is undefined
Source File: resource:///modules/XPIProvider.jsm -> file:///C:/.../Anwendungsdaten/Mozilla/Firefox/Profiles/.../extensions/sigma@labs.mozilla/bootstrap.js

Expected results:
