Steps to reproduce:

My Bookmarks list extends beyond the Firefox window and into my desktop.


Actual results:

When the Bookmarks list closed, only the Firefox window was refreshed.  The portion of the list that extended into the desktop remained on the desktop. This happens about 50% of the time.  Sometimes the Windows Status Bar is not refreshed but the Desktop is refreshed.  Sometimes neither is refreshed.

I am running Windows 7, 64-bit with 4 GB RAM.


Expected results:

The desktop should have been refreshed to erase that portion of the Bookmarks list.

Did you switch Windows visual style without restart Windows?
If so, this duplicate of Bug 610713.

No, I did not switch Windows visual style. Windows has been restarted many times.  I also had the same problem with FF 4.

Based on the description of the problem in Bug 610713, this seems to be a duplicate of Bug 610713.
