User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 5.1; rv:5.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/5.0 Build ID: 20110615151330 Steps to reproduce: I've been using Firefox for years now. No problems. Recently upgraded to version 5 and now my browser randomly goes into "Work Offline" mode. It could be something as soon as I open the browser, or could be some times when I've been idle awhile. Actual results: Firefox switched to "Work Offline" mode and I had to go to File, and uncheck it. Expected results: I should have browsed the web and not have had to uncheck the box.
No Proxy Usage given? LAN/WLAN Usage? When you run another Browser (e.g. MSIE) in the Background, when the Issue happens in Firefox, is the other Browser offline too?
No proxy. I'm on a wired ethernet cable hooked up to a router which is only 1 to 2 feet away. My computer has DMZ zone enabled also. The router connects to my cable modem which is right near it. I also have one other computer connected to the router and have my television connected via Wireless. I don't run any other browsers except Firefox. I've used Explorer maybe 2 to 3 times in the past year, if that. The next time this problem happens I will open Internet Explorer immediately and confirm connection. I can confirm that while Firefox is not working World of Warcraft was working just fine.
yuppicide, do you still see this issue?
