Details

Thunderbird version 2.0.0.24 (20100228). Spell checking is off. I write a new mail. The words I write in the Subject get underdotted. I hate this. This must not happen. I go in the Options menu: "Check as I type" is unticked. I tick it. I untick it: now the underdotting disappears. Please fix this bug. Thanks, Nicolas
Right-click the subject field and turn off "Check spelling".
2.x is long dead we don't support it. Please update to 3.1.x or 5.0. Conlsing as WONTFIX for 2.x
