Steps to reproduce:

I use the Lightning calendar add-on my computer to keep up with many things, including the amount and due date of any significant hits to my checking account, such as credit card payments.  I am having a problem copying and pasting an event from month A to month B -- something within the calendar add-on changes the calendar (which cannot be undone) that is involved which changes the color of the reminder.

What can be done to keep these changes for happening?

TIA, any help will be appreciated.


Actual results:

Copied 'My Biz Calendar' event.  Pasted event.  Opened 'US Holidays' event just pasted... changed amount, tried to change calendar - that was blocked!  Deleted event and pasted again -- same resultS!


Expected results:

Copy and paste should retain ALL values, including calendar.  All pasted items should be editable, even 'calendar'.

Paste will insert the event into the calendar that is selected in the left pane. This behavior is intended and therefore works as specified.

The problem with not being able to edit certain information after copying and pasting a repeating event is filed as Bug 536796.
