Description

We decided today the Touch on mobile was not ready for prime time and are shuffling the topics around.

August is now going to be History API and September will be Geolocation.

We need a short description for the trophy hover box and a tagline for below that.

Hopefully we can push this out next week as a quick 0.9.8.1 release.
Depends on: 671699
Depends on: 671919
Blocks: 671919
No longer depends on: 671919
We're doing this in the 0.9.9 sprint even though it's 0.9.8.1 release. 1 point for changes, 1 point for doing a point release
Whiteboard: [0.9.8.1] → p=2 [0.9.8.1]
Target Milestone: 0.9.8 → 0.9.9
Priority: -- → P1
Whiteboard: p=2 [0.9.8.1] → u=creator c=demos p=2 [0.9.8.1]

Tagline for below the trophy:
"It's where it's at." or "You are HERE."? Any other suggestions welcome.

Short description for hover on trophy:
Geolocation allows the user to provide their physical location to web applications in order to enhance their browsing experience or to enable advanced location-aware features.

Sheppy/Janet: Feel free to improve upon my short desc. above. Thanks!

ETA for this push to prod is tomorrow 2pm PT.

Thurs Jul 21 @ 2pm PDT, according to push bug 671919

Will need to update that bug and negotiate with IT to change
"Put users on the map in web applications. The Geolocation API publishes the user agent's geographical location."

Let's just leave it for Thursday then... it'll give us more time to test and fix any bugs. We can do our "push simulation" tomorrow if it'll make everyone feel better. :-)
There's some confusion on bug 671699 as to which topic needed copy. So, I just dumped in whatever looked good for the sake of time. Should show up on stage9 soon:
