Details
The message composer colors until yesterday were black text on a gray
background, unlike message display which was black text on a white background.
The text color has now changed to some blue or purple color, which i have
reported in a separate but: 67169. However, the background color for the
composer should also be white, as in the message display. In short, the message
composition field should be black text on a white background, for maximum
legibility.
It looks like the default background color for a window has changed to grey. For
example, enter a large bugzilla query and execute it. Before the results come in
(on white background), you can shortly see the text "please stand by..." in
black on grey background. Also some very plain pages (e.g. auto-generated index
pages) turn out black on grey as well. In these cases mozilla should use the
background color specified by the user in preferences under Appearance->Colors,
IMHO.
Confirming on Linux build 2001020221, if that help (I don´t have the powers to
change the bug status myself).
