I don't know how I got into the state my Aurora is in ( and It's been the case for two days) I'm running : Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10.5; rv:7.0a2) Gecko/20110715 Firefox/7.0a2.

When I open Tools -> Extension , I'm presented with an empty views of my extensions. Starting in safe-mode doesn't help. My view is still empty (see screen shot).

I have a few very visible extensions (one is ghostery and it prints things on each page I visit), so I know that one is still installed and running. Another one isn't running properly as I can't follow 302 - I would like to disable some extensions - but currently can't as the UI to do that doesn't even want to show me these.

The Error console doesn't contain anything. My extension folder isn't empty :

localhost:48kjvkgg.default ludo$ cd extensions
localhost:extensions ludo$ ls

As a matter of fact, I just saw something like this in my Ubuntu (32-bit 11.04) Aurora installation. At the time, it was attempting (but not succeeding) to download a new version. The version I had from July 12th. The new one was for July 15th. If it matters, the new build id is "Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux i686; rv:7.0a2) Gecko/20110715 Firefox/7.0a2".
BTW: I tend to have a ton of extensions installed even on Aurora.

I should note that my log might not show the same cause that Ludovic Hirlimann's log would show. So while I might have been experiencing bug 671894, he might not have.

Missed the fact there were two of you. Do you also have the add-ons compatibility reporter installed?

We can re-open if Ludovic's log says something different, but we've had a flurry of these reports in recent days and it's more likely to be a single cause than multiple different issues
I do install it. Too many extensions out there that haven't been updated in ages, but still work just fine.
BTW: If you want a complete list of my extensions from about:support, I can paste here, in bug 671894, or pastebin it. Expect at least 40 addons.
