User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:5.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/5.0
Build ID: 20110615151330
Steps to reproduce:
Followed the instructions for building Firefox Sync at http://docs.services.mozilla.com/howtos/run-sync.html and read the included CENTOS.txt with the latest build version.
Actual results:
The list of required rpms lists a package that does not exist and several that are only available through EPEL for CentOS 5. The version of CentOS is also not explicitly stated.
Expected results:
The CentOS version and the requirement to add EPEL should be stated in CENTOS.txt. The EPEL packages that are needed are python26 and python26-devel. The python26-setuptools package does not exist in EPEL but according to https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=574506 it appears the package is called python26-distribute in EPEL 5.

I have tried to tweak the CENTOS.txt file with your suggestions, can you please take a look?
I haven't mentioned an explicit CentOS version since AFAICT if you're able to get the necessary packages, then the instructions should be the same on any version.

Generic rpm packaging will not be supported for sync1.5, closing this out as stale
