We should consider adding promotional banners to certain pages related to the History API as part of our outreach program. The banner might read something like, "Interested in the History API? After reading about it, head over to the Dev Derby and show the world what you can do."

Janet/Sheppy: Can you help put up something similar to what we did for HTML5 <video>? The top-level page and any other strategic spots would be great. Thanks!

We might want to use a different bit.ly link for August, as bit.ly click statistics do not list referring pages. If we used the same link every month, it would be impossible to determine how many people clicked the link in on the "Video" page, how many clicked the link on the "History API" page, etc. We should also be careful to only use these links in their respective headers, for the same reason.
