This is a pretty bad regression that I've seen on Fennec nightly for a while now, and I just figured out a way to reproduce it 100% reliably.

STR:

1. Subscribe to the planet mozilla feed in your Google Reader if you haven't already.
2. Search the feed for "Memshrink progress, week 5". You should find a post with that title from Nicholas Nethercote.
3. Tap the post to open it.
4. Start to scroll down slowly. As soon as you scroll a bit, a rectangular white area appears which doesn't go away with more scrolling.

Closing and reopening the post and scrolling will reproduce the exact same bug quite reliably.
Possibly related to bug 668921.
