673626 - Gallery pagination behaves weirdly

Two things with the pagination:

1) The more/back buttons link to URLs like:
<https://webifyme-dev.allizom.org/en-US/gallery/chap/4/>

When I open that URL in my browser, I get a text-only list of numbers.

2) I am unsure what the dots do as opposed to the more/back buttons. When I click more, the dot does not move. When I click on the last dot, I presume that should take me to the last page (?) but even then, I can still click on "more".

Can we try to make the pagination do something intuitive?

Erica, I agree with Fred that this could be more intuitive.

Could you talk with your team and propose any simple fixes that would make this easier for users? Thanks!

As provided in our status, this was a design feature of the site and part of the approved comps.  if we were to make the change at this point it would require engagement of the designer and an updated design, and build. We'd recommend closing this bug.
