Details

User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:5.0.1) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/5.0.1
Build ID: 20110707182747

Steps to reproduce:

I used two finger scrolling on my new laptop.

Actual results:

Once I used two finger scrolling on my new laptop's touchpad to scroll up and down in a web page, numpad scrolling broke. After this, pressing PgUp and PgDn numpad keys caused Firefox to change pages (going back or forth in pages I had just visited).

Expected results:

Using two finger scrolling should not cause PgDn and PgUp keys to stop functioning as scroll buttons!

Laptop: Samsung RF711. Brand new as of June 2011.
Touchpad: Elan Smart-Pad multi-finger touchpad
Caret browsing was turned OFF. All of my add-ons, including extensions and plug-ins, were deactivated in hopes of fixing the problem. This did not work. I found no solution. Closing all active Firefox windows and then restarting Firefox will return the normal scrolling function to the PgUp and PgDn keys.
