Steps to reproduce:

On Firefox you can open the Add-ons Manager using the keyboard shortcut cmd/ctrl+shift+a while on Thunderbird there's none.



Expected results:

I would suggest to add a keyboard short, for consistency sake with Firefox my preference would go to cmd/ctrl+shift+a but I noticed that it's taken already and there's a discussion for re-assigning to "add attachment" while composing a message.

Actually, let's swap the duplicate, since this is more general. However, note that this probably isn't going to happen (at least not anytime soon), since nearly every possible key combo is already taken by Thunderbird.

It hasn't landed yet, maybe we're still on time to steal them the shortcut! :D

That won't help unfortunately, since that keyboard shortcut is in the Compose window, and the add-ons tab is opened from the main window, where there's already a long-standing binding for Ctrl+Shift+A (select all messages in the current thread).

It also might be good to reserve shortcut assignments for actions that happen on a daily or nearly daily basis - and surely for the average person on an average day doesn't hit addons.

I agree that we should focus on shortcuts that enhance the usability of specific methods that are repeatedly used every day.
Opening the add-ons is very generic and doubly a daily task.
I agree with the wontfix.
