Details
User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; rv:5.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/5.0
Build ID: 20110615151330
Steps to reproduce:
Since my upgrade to firefox 5, the spreadsheets of google docs started malfunctioning not only on my computer, but on all computers (work pals, friends, etc.). The problem is by using the comment on a cell (right click-> comment). When you use it more than one time it stops working properly.
Actual results:
Upgrade to firefox 5. Comments on Google docs spreadsheets (comment on a cell) started to malfunctioning. When you use it more than once, a bug occurs and it is impossible to continue to put comments on a cell, affecting the work in progress and it needs to be restarted.
Expected results:
The comment function should not have bug, should work like it worked on firefox 4.

Can you be more specific about the "Bug" happening?
By a quick Check I cannot see any Problems using right-click + "Insert comment" on any Cell more than one Time: the yellow Popup is visible and usable.
OS: Other → Windows 7

After playing around a while the comment pop-ups disappear within a fraction of a second and can't be used.
OS: Windows 7 → All
Version: 5 Branch → Trunk

Reproduced:
Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686 (x86_64); en-US; rv:1.9.2.19) Gecko/20110707 Firefox/3.6.19
Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:2.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/4.0
Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:2.0.1) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/4.0.1
Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:5.0.1) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/5.0.1
Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:6.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/6.0
Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:7.0a2) Gecko/20110727 Firefox/7.0a2
Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:8.0a1) Gecko/20110727 Firefox/8.0a1
WFM:
Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64) AppleWebKit/534.30 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/12.0.742.112 Safari/534.30
Steps to Reproduce:
1. In https://docs.google.com/ select Create new / Spreadsheet
2. Right click on A1 and select Insert comment
3. At "type here" in the pop-up write "foo"
4. Press the Escape key
5. Left click on A2
6. Type "bar" and press Enter
7. Right click on A1 and select Insert comment
Expected results:
Pop-up with scrollbar and the old comment together with a new template
Actual results:
Pop-up disappears instantly
As shown above I can't get this to work with any Firefox.
One may also try to right click on A2 and select Insert comment after step 7.

It looks like IE has the same problem, but Chrome works.
Work around: Use Shift+F2
I've successfully used the work around with:
Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:5.0.1) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/5.0.1
Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:8.0a1) Gecko/20110727 Firefox/8.0a1
I guess something is broken at Google, but of course Google may have started using code that is valid according to the standards but broken in both Firefox and IE.

WFM on Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:29.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/29.0, but google spreadsheets work a bit different now (e.g. keyboard shortcuts don't work the same, buttons have to be used for submitting a comment or canceling).
