When I have my transformer docked to its keyboard (which has a trackpad), I really want the desktop firefox UI. Firefox should ship with both and either transform automatically based on configuration or offer the option in preferences.

I can see this useful for other devices such as the ThinkPad X220 Tablet.

I'd like to see how the new tabletUI affects your use on the transformer. We'd need to figure out what "mouse driven UI" means as well. Would we just make all the hit targets smaller? What Firefox desktop UI features would you want?

IMO, we'd need to keep the Fennec application and only change the UI here. I would not recommend actually using desktop Firefox on a 1ghz tablet.

I think the primary thing that feels odd is panning with a mouse.

And I was _just_ bending mfinkle's ear about the blue-sky idea of having a single app that can easily flip between the Fennec and Desktop UIs. :)

But the more likely short-term fix is probably to either (1) add some tweaks to Mobile to make it better with a mouse or (2) run a future Desktop build, since we're already looking at making the full-screen mode more touch-friendly for exactly this reason.

Mouse scrolling within the latest Firefox on an Android ICS 4.0.3 Google TV device (Geniatech ATV310) does not work as well Logitech Wireless Keyboard and Mouse Combo MK220.
