I ran the "Fnc 7.0 BFT - Popup and annoyance blocking" test subgroup on Litmus and the pop-ups from http://www.popuptest.com/ 

None of the pop-ups opened, and the blue notification bar never appeared.

The tests were done on a HTC Flyer

I assume you haven't got anything set related to popups in your site preferences for this site?
Does it work in a new, clean profile?

With Aurora 7.0a2, on pretty much all the tests I get the expected behaviour, I see Aurora catching the popups via notification. No issues, works for me.

FYI, Gunnar, there's a mobile addon called Cleary.  If you install it, it gives you some more fine control in what you can clear in the "Clear private data" line.  If you clear Site Settings, you will clear the site settings for the popuptest.com site.

You can clear the popup settings too, while visiting popuptest.com, and then tapping on the identity box (favicon) in the url bar. There should be an entry in the popup when some popup setting was changed for that site.
