674715 - fault with file save dialog while extension downloading

Steps to reproduce:

1. Start downloading an extension (in this case firebug)

2. while it loads, flip to another page and hit print, then 'save as pdf' (in macos). other actions such as 'save html' might also work. A file save dialog will now be open.

3. If the file save dialog is on the screen when the download for the extension completes, the program locks up in a way that can't be salvaged - it won't accept input through the save dialog e.g. 'save or cancel' and it won't let you swap to the extension dialog that has appeared. 


Actual results:

Program locked up: dialogs still mostly worked but couldn't be completed/cancelled. 


Expected results:

An action should have occured on clicking 'save' or 'continue', rather than nothing (buttons went dead). Alternatively it should have overridden the filesave dialog with the extension download complete dialog, or let me swap between them.
