Discontinuing support for Firefox for Maemo, need to update sites and remove text/links

List of sites that need to be updated:
www.mozilla.com/m/ (change to just one big green button?)

www.mozilla.com/mobile (removing "Get Firefox for Maemo by visiting Firefox.com/m on your phone)

www.mozilla.com/mobile/platforms
(and fyi I marked it as confidential because it involves a partner)
also this page:

http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/mobile/features/
Friendly to the touch
Zoom! "Reading tiny content on a small strain can strain even the best eyesight. To swiftly zoom in and out of any page, just pinch-to-zoom (Android) or double tap (Android/Maemo) any time you’d like to take a closer look."
Michelle - should we also work together to update SUMO pages to remove Maemo/create a help article?
I'm don't think we are discontinuing support for prior versions of Firefox Mobile on Maemo, it is just going from tier 1 to tier 3 post FF7.

So, we have a few options for the various web page changes for downloads and I agree we should work together on this and the correct messaging for existing Maemo users before we change the web pages.

We need to be clear that they can happily continue to use the supported versions.
Status: Firefox 7 is the last supported release for Firefox for Maemo. Starting Firefox 8, we should remove links to Maemo downloads on mozilla.org sites.

This will be a tracking bug for those changes.
