Steps to reproduce:

I highlighted text that will become the clickable link in the html document I was working on in Seamonkey. Then I pressed the Link button from the tool bar at the top of the page. The link properties box appeared. I went to my browser, copied a website address, then I went back to Seamonkey, placed the cursor in the box where the link goes, right clicked to paste the link in the box.

Actual results:

At the right click, instead of seeing the windows menu with the paste command, this text appeared -- "No named anchors or headings in this page."

Expected results:

I should have seen the paste menu and then been able to paste the link I had copied from a web page into the link properties box.
This sounds like you are using the Composer component of SeaMonkey. Can you confirm that you are using SeaMonkey 2.2?

Yes, I am using the Composer feature of SeaMonkey 2.2.
This should be fixed in SM2.3, was a regression in m-c.
