OFTC has this neat feature for automatic services login using SSL client certificates: http://www.oftc.net/oftc/NickServ/CertFP This would be nice to have here if it's not too difficult to do. [14:46] -NickServ- You are connected using SSL and have provided a matching client certificate - [14:46] -NickServ- for nickname sdaugherty. You have been automatically identified. sdaugherty is connected via SSL (secure link) sdaugherty has client certificate fingerprint 3B5BDBF3BE0441EFABD4A17E36A393C2B354F14A
We intentionally disabled this feature because (at least Unreal's implementation of it) causes Chatzilla to prompt the user for a certificate to use when they connect, even if they don't have one.
Hmm. Is there a bug for the issue in ChatZilla? Seems like there should be since other IRCDs that enabled the feature would trigger it...
This isn't something I can fix... Gerv
The update to inspircd and newer Anope enabled this. > 15:02:14 -NickServ(firstname.lastname@example.org)- Syntax: cert ADD [nickname] [fingerprint] > 15:02:14 -NickServ(email@example.com)- cert DEL [nickname] fingerprint > 15:02:14 -NickServ(firstname.lastname@example.org)- cert LIST [nickname]
