I needed weeks to understand what these red circles with numbers were for in Web Console. I tried to hover over them to get information, but no way. We should add a tooltip to them "Message repeated X times in a row" or something similar, to help discoverability (or in that case understanding). (I tested only on Mac OS, so maybe there is a tooltip on other platforms)
