User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10.6; rv:5.0.1) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/5.0.1
Build ID: 20110707182747

Steps to reproduce:

I have form submit (in javascript) tied to onchange event. So if you type into the field that has the onchange event handler and then click on a <select> control.

Actual results:

The submit happens, the screen is re-drawn with the next page, but the pull-down menu persists. It is just floating there, disconnected from the page.

Expected results:

The pulldown menu should disappear with the page it was part of.
I've tried this on OSX Linux(Ubuntu), Windows. On OSX I also tried it with Nightly. Seamonkey does about the same thing.
