Compose a new message in gmail, enter text into the body so that you have "line1" on the first line, then a blank line, then "line2". Position the cursor just after "line1" on the first line. Press enter and backspace quickly. A leftover of the cursor remains painting in the blank line while the real cursor is correctly positioned at the end of the first line.

This doesn't happen at all zoom levels. Increase the zoom and retry if you don't see it.

I see this on Linux and Windows XP.

The first bad revision is:
changeset: 25276:55a739725414
user: L. David Baron <dbaron@dbaron.org>
date: Thu Feb 19 21:29:21 2009 -0800
summary: Implement multiple background layers, implement fallback background color, and make -moz-background-inline-policy no longer be part of the background shorthand. (Bug 322475) r+sr=roc, bzbarsky

which is surprising.
I can reproduce on Windows 7, 64-bit with zoom set at zoom levels (with 0 corresponding to CTRL+0):

-3
-2
+1
+2
+3
This is WFM with Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:12.0a1) Gecko/20111225 Firefox/12.0a1 ID:20111225205318 and trying several Zoom Levels. GMail Change?
I am still able to reproduce on Linux, I am using the new layout for gmail.
