Changing the texture size in |TiledTextureImage::TiledTextureImage| to a smaller texture size such as 128 exposes severe rendering glitches. 

This indicates that some implementation is faulty and should be fixed.
OS: Mac OS X → Android
Hardware: x86 → ARM
Rebuilding with it now.
I see no visible improvements with the patches from bug 611315.
The patches in bug #675908 should fix this. The patch in bug #611315 is related, but the error won't show up (unless you've patched things to allow buffer rotation on shadow layers).
The patch in bug 675908 does in fact solve this problem as well.
