Hi Donovan -- we'll need a short bio that explains who you are and what you're working on as part of Mozilla. 2-3 sentences is sufficient, but feel free to go longer if you like :)
At Mozilla I'm working on dom.js, a project to implement the browser's DOM apis in pure JavaScript. dom.js will be useful for anyone using JavaScript outside of a browser, such as developers implementing server side applications using Node.js, and the project is also helping to uncover bugs in the various HTML specifications which were not obvious before.

My main background has been in the Python community for the last 10 years, where I worked on a number of Open Source projects such as Eventlet, Nevow, and Twisted.

(Please rewrite this in the third person if necessary)
Jeff does not think it is necessary for the short bios to be third-person. But: he does consider it a requirement for discussion of point of view of short bios to be in third person.

That said, if someone ever tried second-person he would enthusiastically endorse the practice.
You are in a quiet, spacious office building where workers hunch over their computers. Out the window you see redwood trees in bright sunlight. In front of you is a desk containing a laptop. On the laptop, an editor is open, displaying the contents of a file named "dom.js". You see that it contains several thousand lines of JavaScript emulating the DOM APIs which are usually implemented in C++.

You don't think the world is quite ready for second person bios.
WALK NORTH
In the ensuing silence, punctuated only by a single, distant cricket, you wonder whether you are officially too old, and whether the people around you in this bug perhaps never played text-based adventure games. Out the window, you see children playing on your lawn.

There is a cane here.
> LOOK CANE
A grey and weathered cane sits gathering dust in a corner. Though aged and probably unsafe at this point, you can tell that it would have been shiny and impressive when new. Inlaid into its brass pommel is a white, serif N astride a black globe. An inscription along the shaft reads, "Legacy".

To the east, you hear what sounds like monkeys chattering.

There is a cane here.
