From Bugzilla Helper: User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux 2.4.0-0.43.12 i686; en-US; m18) Gecko/20010204 BuildID: 2001020508 Starting mozilla gives error: Failed to load jar:resource:///chrome/comm.jar!/content/communicator/bookmarks/bookmarksOverlay.js Mozilla's main window don't show bookmarks in sidebar and accessing Bookmarks with menu Bookmarks/Manage Bookmarks or CTRL-B causes immediaty crash. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Start Mozilla [error message shown in stderr/stdout] 2. Loading... texts stays in Sidebar/Bookmarks 3. Selecting menu Bookmarks/Manage Bookmarks Actual Results: Mozilla crashes Expected Results: Gives Bookmarks window I removed ~/.mozilla directory but it didn't help. Linux 2001020406 works.
i'm not seeing this personally on latest win32.. ben has already fixed a lot of the regressions.. please update your build asap when one is available and re-test
Linux 2001020512 worksforme (Although it ate my bookmarks :) Icons in front of every Bookmark's link are missing at 2001020512.
verifying that crash is gone, along with the error message at startup. I don't miss any icons, but my profile is a week old or so. build ID 2001020512 Linux
Resolving as dup of 67695 since that one is marked fixed now. Please file a separate icon bug if you keep seeing (or not seeing) those. But more chrome changes were checked in now, so perhaps wait till next build. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 67695 ***
