Details

Using 2001-02-05-04 commercial build on NT

1. Bring up Find dialog on a web page
2. Type Esc key on keyboard

Expected: Find dialog to dismiss, as though I'd clicked the Cancel button
Actual: Nothing happens
weird, this wfm using the same build! does this happen on any webpage, or a
specific one? [eg, wfm on mozilla.org] do reopen if you have a specific case
--thx!

Maybe I oversimplified the steps. How about these:

1. Bring up Find dialog
2. Search for a string which isn't in the page
3. Get the "not found" alert, ok that
4. Now you're back to the Find dialog, type Esc.

Looks like the Find dialog isn't getting focus properly afterwards. If you
click anywhere inside the Find dialog after the problem occurs, Esc will work
properly.
Summary: Esc key doesn't work in Find dialog → Esc key doesn't work after Find fails
ah! what you're seeing is a dup, methinks... lemme dig around for that...
looks like what i had seen in bug 62379, which was dup'd in favor of 54936.
