Details

User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9.2.18) Gecko/20110614 Firefox/3.6.18
Build ID: 20110614230723

Steps to reproduce:

I opened a pdf file using adobe reader (I have installed the plug in adobe 10.1.0.534)

Actual results:

When I click the "save" button it does not respond anymore.
Let me add that this very problem is happening in different machines; thus it is not my machine's problem.
If I use Internet Explorer instead, it works fine.

Expected results:

The window for saved documents should have opened and all I had to do was to click the save button.
Does the issue still occur if you start Firefox in Safe Mode? http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Safe+Mode

How about with a new, empty profile? http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Basic%20Troubleshooting#w_8-make-a-new-profile

Reporter, is your issue still reproducible? Did you had the chance to try what was suggested in Comment 1?
I'd like to try it, but I do not know how to start Firefox in the safe mode.
Besides I'd like to know what is the use of the safe mode.
I do thank you in advance.
Dear Simona B

Downloading the 3.6.20 version this problem disappeared.
