User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; Win64; x64; rv:8.0a1) Gecko/20110812 Firefox/8.0a1 Build ID: 20110812030744 Steps to reproduce: Loaded youtube.com Actual results: The memory usage of firefox jumped to 115mb IE opening youtube: 89mb chrome: 89mb Expected results: Firefox to use just as little memory as the other two.
Again, try testing Win32 Builds. Also, wouldn't the Delta of Memory Usage of "about:blank" vs. "youtube.com" be more relevant?
Have you tried with Safe Mode enabled? Addons use memory too. Please give us more informations, otherwise we can't do much with the bug.
start: 44mb youtube:70 so just addons.
