Details
User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:6.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/6.0
Build ID: 20110811165603
Steps to reproduce:
Installed FF6 which has as its main new features, the location bar highlight.
The feature, IMO, freezes/hangs FF6 with browsing to new links or other reason still unknown. When FF6 freezes, the browsers becomes white, the Windows curson becomes a rotating circle, etc... and then 15 seconds later FF6 unfreezes.
This freeze/hang behavior is virtually identical to what I experience when installing and uninstalling the locationbar Add-On in FF5...Constant FF5 freezing/hanging until I uninstalled the locationbar Add-On in FF5.
In FF6, that locationbar is built-in and hence, if it's the same code used as the Add-On, it could be causing FF6 to freeze just like it did for me in FF5.
Actual results:
Freezing of browser when navigating to other links via click on a link in a page or using a bookmark.
Expected results:
No freezing, regardless of what links or bookmarks I click.

I presume your talking about "Locationbar²" (https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/locationbar%C2%B2/)?
Is your Issue reproducible without Extensions in Safe-Mode and/or using a new Profile?

I tried it with a new profile and it "seemed" to work fine...that is, until I installed "Firebug 1.8.1" then that Add-On caused a lot of trouble I had to revert back to FF 5 as I needed to get some work done.
There has got to be better way to figure out which add-ons are causing trouble as opposed to choosing, Restart with all Add-On disabled.
Of course it's going to work!!! if I disable all the add-on. We all know that!
But the reason users like me, and you, choose FF, is because of the Add-Ons!!!
Disabling every single add-on in FF is like saying, "let's try it with IE 9"!

Well, you seem to misunderstand. :-)
Above Steps are - generally speaking - for testing Purpose and for doing some Distinction of Cases regarding Bug in Firefox Code <-> Bug in Extensions Code.
When the former Case is true this Report stays open, in the latter Case you should report your Issue with precise Details to its Author (Contact Data should be within the Extensions UI or on AMO).
Of course you should/can use the best working Combination of Firefox and your Extensions until a final Solution/Fix is deployed.
So you should make your Tests on the created Testing Profile independently.

OK, I don't think I should have complained about the "Disable all Add-Ons" part under this bug as now I am little confused to what your response is referring to.
As for the original bug, it's difficult for me to duplicate bugs, even with creating a new profile as even as I try, I can't seem to pinpoint which Add-On is causing the problem.
