Currently a 404 under the mozilla.org URLs shows the mozilla.com 404 page. We want this to happen at some point, but for now it should show the current mozilla.org 404 page.

Huh, how would you decide which 404 to show. Having two separate 404 pages seems strange to me.

John and I previously agreed that we can just show the new version that's live on moz.com now, we'll be playing catch-up with the mozilla.org design refresh.

It might make sense for us to add a link to mozilla.org (separate bug) and update the copy a bit.

Thoughts?

Using the mozilla.com one and adjusting the content a tad sounds good to me -- I'd much rather wouldn't have to have any sort of special code to decide which 404 page to show.

Oh, heh, I've already changed it to show the mozilla.org 404 because I thought we decided on that. It's a hack though, and I'll gladly revert it to always show the mozilla.com 404 page.

Officially using mozilla.com 404 page for everything except thunderbird, which is using its own 404 page.
