steps to reproduce:
1. go to twitter.com when not logged in.
2. pan to the right
3. switch to landscape mode from portrait

actual results: 

the page is displaced to the right and checkboards areshown on the left of the content window

expected results:

there should be no checkerboards seen and the page should be connected to the left sidebar.
OS: Linux → Android
