Details

User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:6.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/6.0
Build ID: 20110812233755

Steps to reproduce:

I have several password protected calendars and email accounts. I use the password manager to save these passwords. The password manager itself is password protected with a master password.

I think this bug is somehow related to https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=365036

Actual results:

When I'm starting thunderbird with lightning the dialog to enter the credentials "Please enter the master password for the Software Security Device" is opened 3 times in a row.

Expected results:

I think from a users perspective the master password should be entered only once for a session. It's quite annoying to enter the master password for each calendar (host?). Actually this makes the password manager (with master password) quite obsolete since entering the credentials for all calendars would be the same effort for the user.

What version of Lightning is this? 1.0b5?
Component: Security → Internal Components
QA Contact: calendar → base
Yes.
I'm using lightning since 1.0b2 and the behavior did not change as far as I can tell.
Lightning 1.0b5 contains a fix for this bug, see bug 349641.
Well, then the fix does not work in all situations. As already said, I'm using 1.0b5.
Sorry, I misread! I understood you are using Lightning 1.0b2. You are probably not getting any relevant error console messages, right?
