Hi Matej,
We're working on a demo for Fx 7 around websockets. It's based on MMORG games of the 80s and the current name we have "PixelQuest" is owned by someone else.
Can you take a look a see if anything inspires you?
It's all HTML5, Canvas, Websockets and works on both desktop and mobile.
There are hidden eastereggs, references to pop culture. You can kill people, there will be a hidden Firefox costume within the game. Basically, AWESOME.
You need Aurora to try out the game--here's the login info:
http://www.littleworkshop.fr/demos/pixelquest/client/
username:mozilla
password:fx4demos
We'd like a name for or around the 5th.

Very cool stuff.
Just to set expectations, Matej is on PTO until next week, but he still ought to have plenty of time to take this once he's back.

I know this isn't due for a little while yet, but I made some progress on this today (with a little help from Martell) and wanted to see if I was going in the right direction. Here's what I have so far:
BrowserQuest
Browser Wars
A Game of Browsers
Web Crusades
Legend of the Red Panda
Standards Quest
A Knight's Code
OpenQuest
WebQuest
Code of the Fox
Bitmaps & Legends
BitmapQuest
Quest for Firefox

LoMo, any chance you can add some screenshots or quick summary of the game's plot here? intended audience, etc. I haven't had a chance to play it as I'm not on Aurora. Would be really helpful if you can do that.
Meanwhile, not knowing much about the game, I like:
> Web Crusades
> Legend of...
> A Knight's Code
> anything with "quest" in it
Do we need to have "Firefox" in there? are we targeting web geeks? or more mainstream people?

I like
BrowserQuest
Web Crusades
A Knight's Code
WebQuest
Bitmaps & Legends
Franck, cc-ed, is one of the developers. Franck, any standouts? I don't think we NEED to have Firefox in there, I think open standards or something like that is more important. Also, needs to be techie oriented since we're expecting most people to be coming from hacks, etc.

Thinking some more, I really like WebQuest. That may be the winner for me...

Changed my mind. BrowserQuest feels good.
Going to close this bug. Thanks all!
