The mobile site looks alright, but the full site has more info and looks great with chowse's new design. The full site is heavier but that seems ok when your tablet is on wifi. Too bad we can't feature detect your connection speed. Any thoughts jgrlicky?
I think this is a good call, given what we have up right now. The mobile layouts don't have any max-widths set, and don't expand to a multi-column layout, so they're not really useful on tablets. After testing the site on my Galaxy Tab, my only concern is how heavy the desktop page is - not just in bits sent over the wire, but also how choppy panning/zooming is on Aurora. Still, I think the layout wins are probably worth swapping. I'd say in the long run we should think about augmenting the mobile layouts to support tablets (or making our desktop site less heavy), but we should follow your suggestion in the mean time.
