Build ID: 20110811165603

Steps to reproduce:

Hmmm this three boxes are annoying, as sometimes you dont have to do anything. The issue is just there.

Im not quite sure if that css variable is the only cause, or if it has other causes besides that, but the attachment should tell you what the problem is.

Looks better in Fx 3.6, havn't other versions on hand.
Component: General → Layout: Block and Inline
Keywords: regression, testcase
Product: Firefox → Core
QA Contact: general → layout.block-and-inline
Summary: Dotted border on links looks odd on display: block; → outline of links including <span style=display:block> looks odd
Version: 6 Branch → Trunk
Reporter, did this work in Firefox 4 or 5?
Most of the bugs arent present in Firefox 3.6.X.
They are just in Firefox 4,5,6.......
If wouldnt for the new CSS3 and HTML5 New features i wouldnt have bothered to Switch. I barelly decided to, and i had to switch alot of things to make it look more like FF 3.6.X -_-"

I think this bug is only Present into FF6. I dont remember if it was in 4 and 5.
Edit: you wrote while i was writing.....
I dont think they were in FF4 and 5

Looks better means lee buggy, see bug 434301
Depends on: 434301
What do you mean by that?
lee buggy?
Is my bug report a duplicate of that one?
> lee buggy
should read "less buggy", sorry
> Is my bug report a duplicate of that one?
Not exactly, the behaviour worsened since then. Therefore I marked it as depending on that bug.

Allright, I have submitten a new bug. Could you have a look on it?

As far as I can tell, the rendering on the attached testcase is correct, modulo bug 434301. So how is this not a duplicate of that bug?

Things are much worse now for me.
We had some some stray dots, now we have lines.
Yeah, that's exactly what I was talking about. There are just inlines there and they have an outline. Try putting a border on the inline, for example; you'll get _exactly_ the same effect in every single non-buggy browser.

I See that this has been marked as RESOLVED, But it never was.

There is no change on this issue on Firefox 9.0.1 Running under Win7 Ultimate 64 bit. Please Fix it, its really annoying as it looks messy/dirty.....

PS: When i click the "My Bugs" url it displays two bugs of six.
I searched this in google to list my bugs
"site: bugzilla.mozilla.org Radulescu Dragos-Valentin"
Severity: normal → trivial
OS: Windows XP → Windows 7
Hardware: x86 → x86_64
This is not fixed but "RESOLVED as DUPLICATE of bug 434301"
Thanks for teling me. Would you want to answer on my other question on why wont it list all my opened tickets?
This ticket is not open. It's closed as a duplicate of another ticket.

Past that, I don't know which exact "My Bugs" url, you're clicking, so can't tell you what it does or does not show...
The link at the bottom left of this page.... ?

buglist.cgi?bug_status=UNCONFIRMED&bug_status=NEW&bug_status=ASSIGNED&bug_status=REOPENED&emailassigned_to1=1&emailreporter1=1&emailtype1=exact&email1=Rdragos18%40yahoo.com&field0-0-0=bug_status&type0-0-0=notequals&value0-0-0=UNCONFIRMED&field0-0-1=reporter&type0-0-1=equals&value0-0-1=Rdragos18%40yahoo.com
That link only finds bugs with status UNCONFIRMED/NEW/ASSIGNED/REOPENED -- *not* RESOLVED. (as shown in the first line of the URL you gave in comment 17)

I'm guessing your bugs that aren't showing up are all RESOLVED (or they don't match some other aspect of the search query).
(That query also only searches for bugs which you're the assignee or reporter -- not bugs that you're CC'd on. If you want to broaden the search, you can click "edit search" at the bottom-right of the search results page -- there, you can select additional resolutions & check the "CC list" checkbox, perform that search, and then use the "Remember Search As" button on the new search results page to save it alongside "My Bugs" with a custom name)
You need to log in before you can comment on or make changes to this bug.
