Steps to reproduce:

Opened 20 plus tabs.


Actual results:

Firefox crashed. Each additionally time I restarted FF, the intervals of crashes shortened. I disabled every extension. I reinstalled. I created a new sync account. It doesn't help.

This looks like a crash in your video card driver.

Running in safe mode both disables all add-ons and disables the hardware acceleration. The latter may explain why safe mode is fine.

Looking at the Modules section of a crash report I can see that aticfx32.dll is version 8.17.10.1071. I thinks AMD uses the date in their ATI driver version numbers, so this indicates your driver is outdated.

Suggest you update your video driver. Maybe this page can help you find the latest one:

I exchanged the laptop however I did find that updating the drivers did fix the problem. Thanks for your support.
