I run into bugs while using Firefox for Mobile (Aurora) on my phone and the easiest way to file a bug is to find a computer and login to bugzilla. If there's an easier way, please let me know. If not, it'd be great if we could add an easy to find feedback option to Firefox for mobile. (And in Bugzilla, we should probably call it Firefox for mobile, not Fennec. Unless of course I'm filing this in the wrong place.)
There's a feedback option in Fennec for every channel: 1. On any build, go to about:home and click on "Send Feedback" 2. On Beta/Aurora/Nightly, go to the controls panel and click on the "B" icon. Select the happy/sad buttons and send feedback. As for filings bugs, the Bugzilla and Input team is working on extending support for filing bugs via a webapp: Bug: https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=678146 Wiki: https://wiki.mozilla.org/Firefox/TellUsMore

I file bugs with bmo on my phone. Are you running into problems doing that?
Thanks, Aakash. I'll use the feedback option. An app would be awesome. Brad, filing a bug with bmo would mean opening a new web page (once it's bookmarked that's fine but the first time is a pain), logging in (Aurora is not remembering my passwords even with sync), and then navigating the bugzilla interface on the screen of my phone (Wordpress approving comments doesn't work well) ... that said, I haven't tried it. I should. I was hoping for something easier that could collect some info about the page I was on or what I was trying to do.

BMO could probably use some small screen love. Can you file that bug? > I was hoping for something easier that could collect some info about the > page I was on or what I was trying to do. What information would you like to collect? Also, why is this mobile specific?
(In reply to Brad Lassey [:blassey](On vacation 8/22-9/20) from comment #4) > > Brad, filing a bug with bmo would mean opening a new web page (once it's > > bookmarked that's fine but the first time is a pain), logging in (Aurora is > > not remembering my passwords even with sync), > Sync should take care of having your passwords and bookmarks. Do you have > sync set up? Yes, I have sync set up. And it still doesn't seem to know the passwords that my desktop knows. And if I enter them, it doesn't remember them for the next time. I suppose I should file a bug for that. :) > > and then navigating the > > bugzilla interface on the screen of my phone (Wordpress approving comments > > doesn't work well) ... that said, I haven't tried it. Also, why is this mobile > specific? It's hard to enter information on a device. So while I'm happy to type small paragraphs here on my desktop, the more we can fill in for folks on the phone, the better. So we could even have the website they were on filled in, whether they were trying to fill out a form or not, etc.
Stormy, did you file bugs for the issues mentioned in comment 5. That it's hard ot enter information on a device isn't limited for mobile devices, but it's even more difficult there. It seems to me, that the more can be pre-filled in for folks on a device in general, the better. But isn't bugzilla trying to do that already?
I haven't filed a bug for #5. I feel like I need to give more info but I don't know what info to collect or how to collect it.
See https://philikon.wordpress.com/2011/06/13/how-to-file-a-good-sync-bug/ for info on turning on sync logging. Any questions please poke on irc or on the bug.
The QAC Mobile (http://code.google.com/p/mobile-qac/) project from a couple years ago was going to tackle this very issue as described, albeit the project lost momentum. Perhaps it might be worth it in contacting the author.
Depends on: 678146
I'd also file a lot more bugs if bmo was easier to use on my phone. Right now it is just too time consuming and very slow (I'm usually stuck roaming on a 1x signal while at work).
Closing all opened bug in a graveyard component
