I feel that the addon compatibility checker that runs whenever Firefox is updated needs to be simplified. Reason? Every single time I update Firefox on the shared family computer in our home, I get questioned about it afterwards, no matter how many times I explain what it is.
Also, since Firefox automatically updates addons all the time, why is there any need to click a button in this window to get it to look for and install compatible updates anyway?
Addon updates should be automatically checked for and installed, and then only if there happens to be one or more addons that are still not compatible, should a window be displayed to inform the user that this is the case (and in simple terms what it means).

This has been enhanced a fair bit over the past few years and I no longer consider it a significant problem. I will withdraw this bug report.
