Hey Fred,

Not sure if this should go to you, but we'd like to have the auto-rotate feature on mozilla.org's home page turned off. Is that possible?

The logic behind the request is that with the change, we are concerned about damaging the download funnel, and we'd like to have that animation suspended, so that users see Firefox download first and for a longer-than-usual time.

This is one line of JS, so it's fine.  In the future we'd prefer to not make last-minute changes like this since it takes a re-branch and qa to take changes after code freeze.

This project is difficult to anticipate changes, and there's bound to be things like this. With that said, lets learn from this whole experience and see if we can anticipate even better next time.
