After updating from Firefox Beta 6.0b6 to Firefox Beta 7.0b1 via the Android Market, the built-in Feedback add-on is disabled and cannot be enabled.

The add-on should be compatible with 7.0:
https://hg.mozilla.org/releases/mozilla-beta/file/default/mobile/app/profile/extensions/feedback%40mobile.mozilla.org/install.rdf

...and I confirmed by downloading 7.0b1 from our FTP site to a PC and unzipping it that the install.rdf matches the file above. I also confirmed in about:buildconfig that the 7.0b1 build I am running has the correct changeset fac228d3af81 and was built with --enable-update-channel=beta.

Setting extensions.logging.enabled=true does not produce any abnormal messages.

After clearing data and starting with a brand new profile, the extension is enabled.

Before upgrading from 6.0 to 7.0, I had moved Firefox Beta to the SD card, so maybe this is related somehow to bug 655254. (But starting a new profile in 7.0 and then moving it to the SD card did not cause the add-on to be disabled.)

STR:
1. uninstall any beta builds
2. install build from : http://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/mobile/candidates/6.0b6-candidates/build1/android/en-US/
3. stop beta build; move to SDcard
4. update from market
5. check addons

Expected: feedback enabled
Actual: feedback is greyed out and disabled

Turns out that it doesn't have to do with the SDcard. It has to do with the profile just being opened.

If 6b6 is installed and not opened (ie no profile) the upgrade will occur without a problem. If 6b6 is installed, and then quit out of, the feedback addon will be disabled.
Correction:
If 6b6 is installed and not opened (ie no profile) the upgrade will occur
without a problem. If 6b6 is installed, opened, and then quit out of, the feedback
 addon will be disabled.

I wonder if 6b6 is disabling the add-on itself. Then when we update the add-on is left disabled.
