Build ID: 20110811165603

Steps to reproduce:

For years I have been downloading PDFs from http://www.braidense.it/cataloghi/catalogo_rd.php. (I'm usually doing this on Vista.) If you put "Metastasio" in the name (Nome) field, you will get a list of hits. Pick and one. Click on *.pdf.

Today I had this problem also at the US copyright office, with their PDFs (www.loc.gov/copyright).

Actual results:

The download starts, reports how long it will take, etc. But nothing is ever viewable, because the screen starts to flutter. It fill flutter for hours if you don't turn it off. This is not a problem I had until I started using FireFox 4.*, 5.* et al.

Expected results:

The complete opera libretto should download into Adobe Reader in roughly 4-5 minutes. It is not possible to attach a file, because one is never able to actually capture it, save it, or label it.

I actually asked colleague from the next room, who is proficient in flutter. he said you can try using a different web browser to download the PDFs, to see if the help. If the problem occurs across multiple browsers, it may be worth checking any known issues with the website or the server hosting the PDFs. or you can contact my colleague directly, he works here flutter app development services.
