Details

Since the android crashes have been included in the daily crash dumps, the app_notes field has contained tabs. This is the case particularly if the app_notes contains a java exception stack. This breaks the tab delimited nature of the dump for the install_age and duplicate_of fields which follow app_notes. Can we scrub app_notes (and potentially any other field) to make sure it does not contain embedded tabs?

bug 701002 would fix the java stacks being a problem.
java stacks have been moved. any further scrubbing is unlikely. resolved (wont)fixed
