New password only works for one session

User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64) AppleWebKit/535.1 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/13.0.782.215 Safari/535.1

Steps to reproduce:

I entered password after creating a new account. It worked when I check for received mail after creating the new account . After closing T-Bird and reopening it, the password no longer works. I tried uninstalling and re-installing, same thing happened.



Expected results:

Password should always work, if it hasn't changed.
Is the saved password the good one ?

What kind of errors do you get ?

I reinstalled Thunderbird about a month after I wrote this  report and it works ok now. You close this if you wish.
